The drawers are dovetailed solid hardwood and are mounted on full-extension ball-bearing slides. The cabinet doors are well constructed with slow closing doors. The Drawers and shelves show excellent craftsmanship and are made of solid wood.  

The island features three working drawers and cabinets on one side and fully adjustable display shelves on the reverse. Cabinets have one fully adjustable shelf. 

Assembly

The base comes fully assembled, requiring only the Maple Edge Grain Butcher Block Top to be installed. The top weighs 101 lbs. and the base weighs 256 lbs. The island itself is 35-1/4"H and with the top on, it's a bit higher about an inch making both base and top about 36’H. 

Shipping

Shipping is done with precision and extreme caution. It is packaged with 3” of foam all the way around the kitchen island in order to protect your investment. This island will be around for generations to come and will last a lifetime.

We ship this item rather quickly. Once the order has been made we immediately contact the freight carrier for delivery. The shipping company will call to schedule delivery as soon as possible. Freight shipments are delivered curbside. In general, freight companies are not obligated to unload goods from the truck and transport goods from the curb into your garage or building. Therefore, we urge you to arrange to have others available to assist you at the scheduled delivery time.

Since the kitchen island comes pre-assembled, please ensure that point of entry will be able to accommodate this island.

Cleaning 

Before using a cleaner, read the directions on the cleaner bottle to find out whether the cleaner is safe for wood as well as if you should put the cleaner straight on the item or if it needs to be diluted with water. Use a clean, dry cloth to wipe off the surface of your kitchen island before applying a cleaner; this will get rid of hair, dust and other loose materials before you apply the cleaner. Use a cloth or soft sponge while cleaning the island to not scratch the finish. After you have applied the cleaner, be sure you rinse off your island and dry the surface with a dry towel.
